Did you have a good weekend? I hope so. We finally saw sunshine after several cool, gray days. It felt like summer had arrived all over again. I spent a lot of my time in the kitchen Friday and Sunday cleaning strawberries, making jam and baking. My favorite playlist and the sound of my boys playing in the background I could just feel myself relaxing. The best kind of days.
Wish I could say I had a fantastic jam recipe to share with you, but I don’t. Last year I went rogue and tried to make strawberry jam on my own. What I ended up with were about 15 jars of strawberry syrup. Great on ice cream, not so great on toast. So this year I went a different route and followed the instructions on the pectin box. Easy, straight forward and 22 jars of jam later…successful.
