Just a few images of the scenes around our house lately…

Drinking lots of hot cocoa

A cute puppy in a red sweater…

Getting Christmas cards addressed and in the mail, a bit later than usual…

Decorating gingerbread houses with cousins…

Trying pomegranetes for the first time…

Wrapping gifts and eating lots of holiday treats, especially those of the chocolate variety…

Our Christmas Eve is usually pretty relaxed and just our little family.  We go to a Christmas Eve service at our church, were we’ll sing our favorite carols and soak up the beautiful message of the season.  Afterward, we’ll head home for our Christmas Eve meal.  It’s different every year and something we decide on together.  This year, we are having a Mexican feast with enchiladas and tortilla soup.  We’ll then open a few gifts before reading the Christmas Story and tucking the boys in bed.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday celebration!

It was fun Alyssa! The gingerbread houses went great, thanks for the advice on a large base. It was a great activity for cousins ranging in age from 5-15, something everyone could do.
